The Tree-Planters State
«штат лесоводов», «штат сажающих деревья». Одно из официальных прозвищ штата Небраска, утвержденное законодательным собранием штата в 1895 г. Штат Небраска имеет специальный праздник весенней посадки деревьев — Arbor Day.
